The course is required for anyone who is going to work with hot work. The course gives you a basic understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to those who will do hot work. It deals with risk assessment at work, what are the dangers of different equipment and at different workplaces. A review of protection measures will be provided to minimize risk, as well as a procedure for extinguishing a fire.

The online course is flexible and practical – and gives you the opportunity to take the course in a way that suits you. You are welcome to divide the course into several rounds, so that this best suits your situation.
In order to receive a certificate of competence, the following must be approved
- Theoretical exam is passed in the course
- Send documentation of fire extinguishing exercise, no later than 3 months after completing the course
A separate form for completion is given in the course, as well as instructions for conducting a practical firefighting exercise.
Course length: ~ 3-4 hours
The price for the course includes digital textbook, workbook and digital certificate.
Our course in hot work is approved by the Norwegian fire protection association and updated in accordance to new safety regulation 2024.
You will receive a digital certificate from the Norwegian Fire Protection Association upon completion. The certificate you are issued is valid for 5 years.
